Felted Hair Mat - small

A stiff hair mat used for soaking up oil to help preserve natural habitats or in warehouses and manufacturing. Soaks up to 5 times its weight in oil. Hair is highly oleophilic (oil-attracting). It is also hydrophobic (water-repelling). This makes it perfect for soaking up oil spills in bodies of water. This isn’t limited to the ocean, it also includes storm drains, rivers, ponds, anywhere that run off could contain oil.
